Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Updated: Oct 12

In this month of CDH awareness this sponsored bike ride becomes doubly important so building on the momentum from our previous blog, today we delve deeper into the collaborative spirit behind our participation in the Oxford Bike Ride for CDH sufferers. As our company tagline, "Capturing Reality Collaboratively," suggests, teamwork is at the core of everything we do. A huge thanks once again to BMR Newbury and Velospeed for their incredible support! Their contributions are truly crucial for the success of this event.

BMR Newbury, a construction company in Newbury, is generously providing the support van for our ride. More importantly, Lauren and Tony of BMR are valued, friends and neighbours. Velospeed, the electric bike experts, are supplying the top-notch e-bikes that will propel us through the 25-mile course. Their dedication to sustainability and exceptional service is a perfect match for our commitment to quality and innovation.

Meet the Cycling Team: The Powerhouse Behind the Pedals

Now, let's introduce the individuals making this challenge possible:

  • Mike and Kate Jackson: This dynamic duo is hitting the road for CDH Suffers, Mike and Kate met as teenagers and have been married for 28 years. Their teamwork extends beyond the home, this latest challenge finds Mike and Kate working together to raise money for this worthy cause.

While not everyone will be pedaling alongside them, the rest of the team plays a vital role:

  • Tom, the Innovation Catalyst: The middle son, Tom, is an employee who shares Michael's dedication to pushing boundaries in construction. He brings fresh ideas and a willingness to learn to the team, ensuring efficient operations and a cutting-edge approach to their charitable cause.

  • Aidan, the Youngest Adventurer: Aidan, the youngest son, might be flying off to Thailand on the day of the ride, but his adventurous spirit and love for a challenge will be with the team in spirit.

  • Luke, the Quiet Encourager: Our eldest son, Luke, may not be joining the ride firsthand, but his quiet focus and determination will be a source of encouragement for the entire team.

A Team Effort for a Worthy Cause

This team may not all be on the bikes, but their diverse personalities and strengths create a powerful force united by a common goal: to raise awareness and funds for CDH sufferers. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for families affected by this birth defect.
