At Start 2 Finish Project Planning Ltd, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that are close to our hearts. Recently, some dear friends received some worrying news about their second child. Their baby boy, still on the way, has been diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, or CDH. CDH is a birth defect where the diaphragm, the muscle separating the chest from the abdomen, doesn't fully develop. This can cause organs from the abdomen to push up into the chest cavity, making it difficult for babies to breathe. (Click here ) According to CDH UK, 1 in every 2,500 babies are born with CDH, and families face a challenging journey caring for their affected child.
We can't imagine what our friends are going through, but we want to do everything we can to support them and families like theirs. That's why we, at Start 2 Finish, have decided to participate in the 25 mile Oxford Bike Ride to raise funds for them and CDH UK. This ride is an opportunity for us to raise awareness for this cause and contribute to research and support for families affected by CDH.
To make this 25-mile cycle challenge possible, we've partnered with BMR Ltd, Newbury who are generously providing the support van, and Velospeed who are supplying the bikes. We're incredibly grateful for their support, and we'd also like to extend this gratitude to any companies or individuals who choose to sponsor our ride. Donations of £500 or more will be recognised with a mention on our busy website, helping to raise awareness for your company while supporting this important cause.
