We had a hectic couple of days recently - but pondering the pros and cons of scanning public spaces, they certainly have advantages - the lovely thing is that we get encouraged to showcase because they like the publicity annnnd (bonus) we don’t generally have to navigate layers of private security!
Wales was beautiful, lush and green due to their plentiful rain! Winchester was bustling and glittering - showing its ( more than) 1000-year-old high street off at its Christmas best; Glastonbury was ancient and friendly, and London was typically glossy and dynamic. I don’t usually have favourites, but I did enjoy my visit to Winchester recently; I managed to sneak off at the end of this week and take a peek at some gorgeous hidden away places… I mean, just look at the detail on this stained glass:
